Your measurement files stay on your device.

BenchReport performs Touchstone parsing, analysis, charting, project creation, and report generation in the browser. The application does not transmit the contents of files you open.

Local information

Reusable rule templates are stored in your browser’s local storage. Installed/offline files may be held in the browser cache. You can remove these through your browser’s site-data controls.

Project files

When you save a .brp project, the browser creates the file locally. It may contain measurement data, names, report metadata, notes, and an embedded logo. Treat it according to the sensitivity of the data you placed in it.

Hosting logs

The public site is delivered through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process ordinary web-request information under its own privacy terms. BenchReport currently contains no advertising, behavioural analytics, account system, or third-party measurement upload.

Professional use

Only open or save data that you are authorised to process. The fact that processing is local does not override employer, customer, export-control, contractual, or information-security requirements.
